Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,000.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ramkinkar Baij have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Festive Eve in December 2013 with an auction result of INR 5,250,000.00 (€ 61,724.36).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Cat with Fish) von Ramkinkar Baij kam im September 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.000,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
