In October 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Portrait of Christopher Buckley by Raymond de Botton. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,000.00 (€ 717.00), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raymond de Botton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The White Horse in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,962.50).

Im Oktober 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Christopher Buckley von Raymond de Botton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 717,00) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raymond de Botton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The White Horse im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.962,50).
