This work of art by Raymond Harris Ching could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2000 for an unexpectedly low price. In the WILDLIFE ART auction, the work North Auckland Forest and New Zealand Pigeon changed hands for GBP 940.00 (€ 1,536.39) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Raymond Harris Ching have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Study Of The Head Of An Eider Drake in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,846.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Raymond Harris Ching konnte im November 2000 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion WILDLIFE ART wechselte die Arbeit North Auckland Forest and New Zealand Pigeon für GBP 940,00 (€ 1.536,39) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
