In June 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work La muse vénale by René Daniels. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 25,000.00 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by René Daniels have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eindelijk in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 269,000.00 (€ 241,580.60).

Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La muse vénale von René Daniels zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 25.000,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von René Daniels auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eindelijk im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 269.000,00 (€ 241.580,60).
