Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work L'Indien, Vers 1925 by René Vincent for EUR 1,706.00. This price was achieved in the auction The Native Americans as seen by Europeans, 1800-1960 at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by René Vincent have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Michelin Lithographic poster in colours, cond. B, printed by Draeger, in December last year with an auction result of GBP 14,025.00 (€ 15,832.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit L'Indien, Vers 1925 von René Vincent für EUR 1.706,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Native Americans as seen by Europeans, 1800-1960 bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von René Vincent auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Michelin Lithographic poster in colours, cond. B, printed by Draeger, im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.025,00 (€ 15.832,86).
