A top price for Riccardo Scarpa - as previously expected
In December 2020 Christies in New York held the auction La Ménagerie, which included the work Faucon stylisé by Riccardo Scarpa. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,176.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Faucon stylisé is the most expensive artwork by Riccardo Scarpa that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion La Ménagerie durch, in der auch die Arbeit Faucon stylisé von Riccardo Scarpa zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.176,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Faucon stylisé das teuerste Kunstwerk von Riccardo Scarpa, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
