Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work A Market in Jaffa by Richard Friese for GBP 375.00 (€ 418.44). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Friese achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Norwegische Winterlandschaft mit Elch und Braunbär in September 2017 with an auction result of EUR 8,680.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Market in Jaffa von Richard Friese für GBP 375,00 (€ 418,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Friese erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Norwegische Winterlandschaft mit Elch und Braunbär im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.680,00.
