Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included this untitled work by Rivane Neuenschwander. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,352.50 (€ 9,464.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rivane Neuenschwander have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work One Thousand and One Possible Nights [N. 51-55|AID420885] in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 68,219.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rivane Neuenschwander zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.352,50 (€ 9.464,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rivane Neuenschwander auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit One Thousand and One Possible Nights [N. 51-55|AID420885] im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 68.219,03).
