Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 456.00 (€ 658.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Banks have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work ‘Marforio’ Memorial To Pope Clement Xii in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,550.55).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Banks auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ‘Marforio’ Memorial To Pope Clement Xii im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.550,55).
