Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Triptych) by Robert Jacks was sold in the COLES MYER COLLECTION auction at Christies in Melbourne in November 2004. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 1,135.25 (€ 661.25). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Jacks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mister Bloom with his Stick Gently Vexed in May 2001 with an auction result of AUD 25,850.00 (€ 15,494.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Triptych) von Robert Jacks wurde im November 2004 in der Auktion COLES MYER COLLECTION bei Christies in Melbourne versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 1.135,25 (€ 661,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Jacks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mister Bloom with his Stick Gently Vexed im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 25.850,00 (€ 15.494,71).
