However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Levrac-Tournières - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Gentleman, Three-Quarter-Length, In A Blue Velvet Jacket With Gold Frogging And A Purple Mantle, Gesturing Towards A Book On A Marble Table, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 84,872.00).
