Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2005 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Ancient Place by Robert Juniper. It changed hands for a price of AUD 8,962.50 (€ 5,434.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Juniper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madman's Outcamp in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,389.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2005 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ancient Place von Robert Juniper zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von AUD 8.962,50 (€ 5.434,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Juniper auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Madman's Outcamp im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 28.389,45).
