Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Chinese Works of Art, which included the work Four Celestial Animals From Shanhaijing by Rong Zuchun. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,304.52). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rong Zuchun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sketches, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,186.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Chinese Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four Celestial Animals From Shanhaijing von Rong Zuchun zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.304,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Rong Zuchun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sketches beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 153.400,00 (€ 16.186,15) versteigert wurde.
