Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Kellystown Heaven Jumper by Ross Wilson for GBP 625.00 (€ 796.08). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors - Style and Spirit at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ross Wilson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Horse) in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,343.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Kellystown Heaven Jumper von Ross Wilson für GBP 625,00 (€ 796,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors - Style and Spirit bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ross Wilson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Horse) im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.343,26).
