Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work J-Class Yachts Racing Across The Line; And Activity On The Thames by Rowland John Robb Langmaid was sold in the MARITIME AND NAVAL BATTLES auction at Christies in London in November 2001. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 446.50 (€ 710.52). Admittedly, works by Rowland John Robb Langmaid have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunset, Westminster in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,960.41).

Die Arbeit J-Class Yachts Racing Across The Line; And Activity On The Thames von Rowland John Robb Langmaid wurde im November 2001 in der Auktion MARITIME AND NAVAL BATTLES bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 446,50 (€ 710,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rowland John Robb Langmaid auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunset, Westminster im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.960,41).
