The work Australian New Atlantis by Roy De Maistre was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in November 2009. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 222,000.00 (€ 135,370.55). With this result, Australian New Atlantis is even the most expensive work of art by Roy De Maistre that we have observed at auctions so far.
