The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 87,500.00 (€ 82,718.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Rubens Santoro have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2001 the work Venezia, Il Canal Grande Alla Salute was auctioned for EUR 156,800.00.
