In January 2004 Christies in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings, which included the work The Finding of Moses by Rutilio Manetti. The »bidding war« ended at USD 38,240.00 (€ 30,709.93), 27% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Rutilio Manetti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madonna und Kind mit dem Erzengel Michael. in September 2007 with an auction result of CHF 444,000.00 (€ 267,511.64).

Im Januar 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Finding of Moses von Rutilio Manetti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 38.240,00 (€ 30.709,93) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rutilio Manetti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Madonna und Kind mit dem Erzengel Michael. im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 444.000,00 (€ 267.511,64).
