Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rêve by Safwan Dahoul was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,250.00 (€ 28,507.57). Admittedly, works by Safwan Dahoul have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rêve in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 257,000.00 (€ 205,107.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rêve von Safwan Dahoul wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.250,00 (€ 28.507,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Safwan Dahoul auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rêve im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 257.000,00 (€ 205.107,74).
