It achieved a price of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,505.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Safwan Dahoul achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rêve in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 257,000.00 (€ 205,107.74).

Die Arbeit Syrian untitled von Safwan Dahoul kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in Dubai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.505,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Safwan Dahoul erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rêve im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 257.000,00 (€ 205.107,74).
