Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Noah'S Ark) by Sakti Burman was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in June 2013. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 750.00 (€ 875.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sakti Burman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rêve de Maya (Maya's Dream) in September this year with an auction result of USD 170,100.00 (€ 160,714.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Noah'S Ark) von Sakti Burman wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 750,00 (€ 875,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sakti Burman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rêve de Maya (Maya's Dream) im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.100,00 (€ 160.714,29).
