Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sam Fullbrook could be acquired at Bonhams in Sydney in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Australian Art Online auction, the work Nude changed hands for AUD 1,230.00 (€ 745.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Fullbrook achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Nocturne With Aeroplane And Fishes in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 38,400.00 (€ 22,962.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sam Fullbrook konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Sydney für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Australian Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Nude für AUD 1.230,00 (€ 745,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Fullbrook erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Nocturne With Aeroplane And Fishes im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 38.400,00 (€ 22.962,30).
