The work Street Scene by Samuel Borenstein was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in December 2009. The »bidding war« ended at CAD 48,000.00 (€ 32,014.51), 60% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Street Scene the most expensive artwork by Samuel Borenstein that we have observed at auctions so far.
