Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Christies in London held the auction Sporting and Wildlife Art, which included the work A well behaved spaniel by Samuel Fulton. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,191.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Samuel Fulton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Collie, which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,446.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting and Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A well behaved spaniel von Samuel Fulton zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.191,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Samuel Fulton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Collie beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.446,80) versteigert wurde.
