Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included the work Untitled (from the series 'Formas geométricas móviles') by Sandú Darié. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 68,288.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sandú Darié have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Untitled was auctioned for USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (from the series 'Formas geométricas móviles') von Sandú Darié zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 68.288,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Sandú Darié konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Untitled für USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80) versteigert.
