A top price for Sarah Jackson
When the work Dancer by Sarah Jackson was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2020, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 1,200.00 but the actual price achieved was more than 22 times as high at USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,102.69). This high result makes Dancer the most expensive artwork by Sarah Jackson that we have observed at auctions so far.
