This artwork by Savely Abramovich Sorine achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the Russian Art and Paintings auction, the work Portrait Of Vivien Leigh sold for GBP 32,900.00 (€ 46,068.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Savely Abramovich Sorine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life Of Roses And Lilac in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 157,250.00 (€ 198,769.27).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Savely Abramovich Sorine erzielte im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art and Paintings wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of Vivien Leigh für GBP 32.900,00 (€ 46.068,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Savely Abramovich Sorine auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life Of Roses And Lilac im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 157.250,00 (€ 198.769,27).
