Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Maria Chaliapin née Bobrik (1901-1988) by Savely Abramovich Sorine was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,051.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Savely Abramovich Sorine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life Of Roses And Lilac in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 157,250.00 (€ 198,769.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of Maria Chaliapin née Bobrik (1901-1988) von Savely Abramovich Sorine wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.051,85) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Savely Abramovich Sorine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life Of Roses And Lilac im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 157.250,00 (€ 198.769,27).
