Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mavi An (Blue Moment) by Seckin Pirim was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2010. It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,350.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Admittedly, works by Seckin Pirim have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Voice in October last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,376.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mavi An (Blue Moment) von Seckin Pirim kam im April 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.350,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Seckin Pirim auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Voice im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.376,01).
