Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Cricket Bat by Seema Kohli for GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,901.12). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Seema Kohli have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May last year by the work Untitled (The Golden Womb - 'Who I am') at GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,249.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cricket Bat von Seema Kohli für GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.901,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Seema Kohli wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Untitled (The Golden Womb - 'Who I am') mit GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.249,71).
