Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Model by Selma Parlour was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,305.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Selma Parlour - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Looks like a Plan, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,390.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Model von Selma Parlour kam im März 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.305,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Selma Parlour mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Looks like a Plan beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.390,51) versteigert wurde.
