This work without title by Senaka Senanayake was sold in the Boundless: India auction at Sothebys in Mumbai in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at INR 1,250,000.00 (€ 15,768.22), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Senaka Senanayake - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Acrobats), which sold at auction in March 2019 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,965.09).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Senaka Senanayake wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Boundless: India bei Sothebys in Mumbai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von INR 1.250.000,00 (€ 15.768,22) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Senaka Senanayake mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Acrobats) beobachtet, die im März 2019 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.965,09) versteigert wurde.
