The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,363.98) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Septimus Edwin Scott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunday Morning in December 2002 with an auction result of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 9,920.26).
