Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Serge Poliakoff could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the A Clear Form auction, the work Composition in yellow, green, blue and red, 1956 changed hands for DKK 14,000.00 (€ 1,878.03) - just shy of the DKK 20,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Serge Poliakoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rouge bleu jaune in September 2018 with an auction result of CNY 7,560,000.00 (€ 947,114.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Serge Poliakoff konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion A Clear Form wechselte die Arbeit Composition in yellow, green, blue and red, 1956 für DKK 14.000,00 (€ 1.878,03) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Serge Poliakoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rouge bleu jaune im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 7.560.000,00 (€ 947.114,09).
