This artwork by Sergio de Castro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in October 2010. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Nature Morte, 1958-1960 sold for EUR 7,013.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergio de Castro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Atelier- Printemps 66, 1966, which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 23,545.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sergio de Castro erzielte im Oktober 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Nature Morte, 1958-1960 für EUR 7.013,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sergio de Castro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Atelier- Printemps 66, 1966 beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für EUR 23.545,00 versteigert wurde.
