Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2014 Christies in New York held the auction American Furniture, Outsider and Folk Art, which included the work Still Life: Wine and Fruit by Severin Roesen. The price achieved of USD 52,500.00 (€ 41,574.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Severin Roesen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Fruit In A Landscape in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 769,000.00 (€ 494,215.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Furniture, Outsider and Folk Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life: Wine and Fruit von Severin Roesen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 41.574,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Severin Roesen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Fruit In A Landscape im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 769.000,00 (€ 494.215,94).
