Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Surgie dans la Nuit (Burst into the Night) by Shafic Abboud was sold in the Marhala: Highlights from the Dalloul Collection auction at Christies in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 52,920.00 (€ 61,322.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shafic Abboud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Villa des Iris in November this year with an auction result of GBP 381,400.00 (€ 441,959.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Surgie dans la Nuit (Burst into the Night) von Shafic Abboud wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Marhala: Highlights from the Dalloul Collection bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 52.920,00 (€ 61.322,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shafic Abboud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Villa des Iris im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 381.400,00 (€ 441.959,66).
