Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Figures by Shen Xinhai for AUD 738.00 (€ 455.53). This price was achieved in the auction Asian Art at Bonhams in Sydney and was even below the estimate range of AUD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Xinhai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 177,000.00 (€ 19,480.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Figures von Shen Xinhai für AUD 738,00 (€ 455,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams in Sydney erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Xinhai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 177.000,00 (€ 19.480,94).
