Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Shepard Fairey achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in January 2024. In the The Art of _Supporting The Laurel Foundation auction, the work Love Lotus, 2021 sold for USD 460.80 (€ 402.73) - well above the upper estimate of USD 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shepard Fairey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Obama Hope in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 600,800.00 (€ 515,840.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shepard Fairey erzielte im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Art of _Supporting The Laurel Foundation wurde die Arbeit Love Lotus, 2021 für USD 460,80 (€ 402,73) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shepard Fairey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Obama Hope im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 600.800,00 (€ 515.840,99).
