Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Shirin Neshat was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,697.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shirin Neshat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Passage in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 269,000.00 (€ 214,684.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shirin Neshat kam im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.697,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shirin Neshat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Passage im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 269.000,00 (€ 214.684,76).
