Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,133.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sidney Richard Percy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cader Idris, North Wales, which sold at auction in July 2013 for GBP 73,875.00 (€ 84,415.06).
