This artwork by Sigalit Landau achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in December 2016. In the Israeli & International Art auction, the work Frame From Deadsee (Tif 9) sold for USD 13,750.00 (€ 13,030.71) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sigalit Landau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Deadsee in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 90,717.76).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sigalit Landau erzielte im Dezember 2016 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Israeli & International Art wurde die Arbeit Frame From Deadsee (Tif 9) für USD 13.750,00 (€ 13.030,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sigalit Landau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Deadsee im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 90.717,76).
