Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selbstbildnis, 1933 by Sigismund Righini was auctioned at Christies in Geneva in September 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 2,748.50 (€ 1,261.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sigismund Righini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selbstbildnis, 1915 in November 2016 with an auction result of CHF 52,500.00 (€ 48,718.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Selbstbildnis, 1933 von Sigismund Righini kam im September 2003 bei Christies in Genf zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 2.748,50 (€ 1.261,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sigismund Righini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selbstbildnis, 1915 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 52.500,00 (€ 48.718,09).
