Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Sigrid Sandström for USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,941.67). This price was achieved in the auction Bid for Better Online: Charity Auction to Benefit the Cantor Fitzgerald Fund for Hurricane Harvey Relief at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sigrid Sandström - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Utan titel" (Untitled), which sold at auction in November 2012 for SEK 60,000.00 (€ 6,922.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sigrid Sandström für USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.941,67) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Bid for Better Online: Charity Auction to Benefit the Cantor Fitzgerald Fund for Hurricane Harvey Relief bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sigrid Sandström mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Utan titel" (Untitled) beobachtet, die im November 2012 für SEK 60.000,00 (€ 6.922,37) versteigert wurde.
