Si allega lettera dell'allievo pittore Ludovico Tommasi a Giovanni Malesci in data 19 aprile 1937, in cui Tommasi ricorda di aver visto dipingere l'opera "in una villetta nei pressi di Firenze", indicando nelle figure la cognata ed il nipote dell'Artista.
