In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Castle Urquhart and Loch Ness by David Young Cameron. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,851.80), 58% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Castle Urquhart and Loch Ness the most expensive artwork by David Young Cameron that we have observed at auctions so far.
