In the An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection auction, the work Heady Study Of Love For 'The Triumph Of Love Over Oblivion' changed hands for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,999.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Burne-Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love among the Ruins in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 14,845,875.00 (€ 16,963,999.76).
