In the British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Beside the water pump sold for GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,791.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Samuel Henry Llewellyn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arranging Flowers in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 130,500.00 (€ 132,071.65).
