Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in London held the auction FootballThe Beautiful Game, which included the work Study for 'Here They Come!' The Valley' by Stanley Roy Badmin. The price achieved of GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,474.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Roy Badmin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Four Seasons in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 46,336.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion FootballThe Beautiful Game durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study for 'Here They Come!' The Valley' von Stanley Roy Badmin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.474,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanley Roy Badmin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Four Seasons im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 46.336,12).
