Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Szabolcs Bozó achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July last year. In the Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong auction, the work Piros Flamingo (Red Flamingo) sold for HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 125,777.69) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Szabolcs Bozó; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 164,547.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Szabolcs Bozó erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong wurde die Arbeit Piros Flamingo (Red Flamingo) für HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 125.777,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Szabolcs Bozó; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 164.547,95).
